The minute we say God we associate it to a Supreme being who is all powerful all generous and merciful, and most of us consider this Deity to be male in fact most of us assume that this Being is male. Historically speaking the first places of worship essentially honoured a Female God a Goddess. The woman and her ability to reproduce to give life was considered divine and miraculous She according to the ancients was therefore worthy of worship, but in the later ages especially in India women were seen as binders they bind us to the earth the west saw disgust in Her as She had cycles and was seen as a capricious bringer of lust not worthy of worship it was at this point that God in the west became strictly male. The female gender is indeed the cause of attachment but I feel that it is so because the make depends on her for everything especially in the current age as infants the death of a mother is the death of the babe as children too we depend on mothers psychology shows that one can live as a child with out the mother but it does have considerable psychic impact especially during adolescence. The young man needs her to satisfy those surging testosterone levels and as a daughter she serves you when you are old. This high dependency is something that cannot be ignored. It was precisely for this reason that the Female is honored all Cultures consider the Arts to be female for only the female can soothe the mind prosperity is female power itself is female. If you are a man who considers women to be inferior remember it was She who gave you life She is raw Nature too sublime to be treated with respect and honour. Salutations to the Goddess.

Saluting the Female

The Muses
My actual first post must go to the Muses these less known Greek deities are 9 in number they are the goddesses of various aspects of literature hence I rightfully credit this to them. These goddesses were the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne ( memory ) now if u read Greek mythology u will usually be able to establish a connection between parents and children or brother and sister for example Ares and Aphrodite war and love respectively have an affair in Greek mythology to produce Harmonia goddess of harmony to show that love conquers war, however I couldn't establish any connection here. The Muses are one of the easiest deities to experience they're presence if not anywhere can be clearly felt in any interesting literature class now I even began associating them with different moods or passions to be more precise for example Polyhymnia the Muse of Hymns can be felt during religious singing especially during that point where you are completely immersed in it i.e the thoughtless state something i request readers to try getting into once. Plus as with other Greek gods the Muse wreck vengeance too reminds of those pathetic poems we had to learn. They also patronize poetry and music.
